As humans, we are incredibly resilient; able to bear seemingly unbearable hurt, pain, and wounding experiences. However, our pain is not meant to be held alone- as we need a present and safe other to help us hold all that has been endured. I believe that therapy takes place within this precise context where your experiences and feelings have a dwelling place to be explored, processed, and held in the therapeutic relationship. It is with the intention of exploration, rather than expectation that we work together- where experiences that may have not had a home before, can be tended to in newfound and meaningful ways.

A process of integrating life’s experiences into a tapestry of self, therapy provides a profound context for exploration and meaning. It is an honor to walk alongside you in this process. I am happy to provide a 15-minute consultation call to gain an understanding of where you are presently at & how I can help you move toward expansiveness & healing.

Individual Therapy

Perhaps you seek a “coming home” to yourself in a way that feels safe and meaningful. Perhaps you long to make meaning of wounding or painful experiences. Or perhaps, you wish to understand yourself in the context of relationships and the world around you. Whatever your reasons for seeking therapy at this time, I honor your courage to do so.

Just as each person’s experiences are inherently unique to each individual, I tailor therapy to meet each person where they are individually at. Valuing training in relational and contemporary psychoanalysis, I work in a manner that is informed by trauma-sensitive, emotionally-focused, relational, somatic, and holistic approaches where there is a context for your pain and a safe presence in your healing. I believe that the therapeutic process should not be a “one size fits all” approach but rather, a crafted collaboration between patient and therapist to create sincere connection, meaningful dialogue, and exploration of your experiences in profoundly meaningful ways.

Couples Therapy

All relationships have a unique rhythm. When in sync, there is a fluid movement within and between the connection of the relationship. When out of sync, this rhythm may become uncertain, disconnected, or shaky - often making it difficult to find your way back to one another in a way that feels containing and secure.

I work with the understanding that relationships involve a relational dance where each partner longs for trust, connection, and accessibility in one another. Through the process of couples therapy, the bond between you and your partner can be explored in newfound and meaningful ways; where there is a context for conflict and a frame for finding a "safe relational home" in one another.

Specialties

I have specialized training and experience working with trauma and ptsd, particularly with individuals who have endured sexual assault and abuse. I additionally specialize in the treatment of anxiety and panic, highly sensitive people, women's issues, and relationship distress.

I hold a niche specialty in working with former gymnasts or dancers who experience lasting effects of the sport- emotionally, physically, and/or mentally.
